My daughter is the first child; she doesn’t have a sibling to play with growing up. She always longs for that companionship and often asks us to take her to the playground in our neighborhood, where she meets other children.
Our neighborhood had a small playground with only two swings available. It was always a matter of luck if she could get one.
Sometimes, she doesn’t get to play. She would pretend not to care and sit on the bench with all the parents, but her eyes would be locked on the kids playing on the swings.
That is the problem with the public facility, they wanted to play and laugh with other kids, but that limited number of sets often limit the number of that play circle.
For the first time, I had the idea of building a complete play set for my daughter, including swings and slides with a climbing slope on the side.
Since I work in international trade, I have the opportunity to connect with top manufacturers worldwide. I found a factory that shares our uncompromising pursuit of product quality to bring my creative vision to life. After producing the play set, it received widespread approval from our neighbors. This success convinced me that these healthy backyard play solutions should be shared with families worldwide.
We initially sent our innovative products to leading brands in various countries. Thanks to our superior design and quality, we gained the continuous recognition of global top retailers.
In 2018, we registered the brand Big Elephant Play to promote our play sets and swing products comprehensively. We also secured distributors in some Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian countries. The story continued into 2023, when we realized that our mission—to bring healthy and joyful lifestyles to children worldwide—had outgrown the product range and imagination of Big Elephant Play. Thus, we rebranded to KIDS LAND, expanding our product line to include a broader range of play equipment. To perfectly integrate design and functionality, we brought on a British team renowned for their advanced design concepts and aesthetics.
Every KIDS LAND product embodies our hopes and promises, aiming to bring the most wonderful childhood experiences to children. Each product is a solid step toward establishing KIDS LAND as a world-class children’s play brand.

About This Journey
The first expansion aimed to increase the storage area and provide basic machining services. We achieved certification as a strategic supplier for leading European lifting equipment brand “Stamperia Carcano” and hardware supplier “Kleinsorge,” laying a solid foundation for subsequent development in high-end machinery and equipment manufacturing.
We established a strategic partnership with Rainbow Play System, a prominent brand in the US children’s playground industry.
Our manufacturing plant was completed in 2005, introducing large-scale equipment and assembly line operations. We focused on technological research and development, setting the stage for relocating the group’s headquarters and enhancing the trading business with in-house product development and manufacturing.
Despite changes in the marketing system and globalization trends, we prioritized customer needs and continued to improve the “CFT (Customer Focus Team)” service mode. In 2014, we established four integrated customer service centers.
The production and research base underwent its third expansion in 2016, reaching a total area of 33,000 square meters to accommodate large-scale production orders. Through relentless efforts, we obtained certifications from stringent compliance systems such as BSCI and SMETA, becoming an audited supplier for Walmart. By the end of the year, our full-time employee count had exceeded 200.
Our team’s nest swing gained recognition in Sam’s Club’s 2017 Summer toy selection, achieving unprecedented sales success and topping its category in the first season alone. This project created over 500 additional jobs in the surrounding area.
Brantwood is dedicated to delivering excellent products and services under various brands. Simultaneously, we remain focused on product R&D and industrial innovation, boasting more than 60 product patents. As of 2021, we own five registered brand names, with the list expanding alongside business growth.
